All Rentals

It is simple and easy to hire from us. Just enquire online or give us a call on 03 9553 2648 and we will endeavour to meet your needs as soon as possible with our very low, competitive rates. We can deliver day or evening and we service inner, south and south-east suburbs of Melbourne. Our delivery fee of $40 covers delivery, installation and pickup.

We hire both long term and short term, and if new items are hired our rent/buy scheme is available. In addition, if 3 or more larger appliances are hired long term (eg. television, dryer, washing machine, refrigerator etc.), then we will provide a microwave, DVD player or vacuum FREE for the duration of the rental, and there will be no delivery fee charged.

Second Hand

We hire quality late model, presentable second hand appliances for a minimum of 6 months, then month to month after this time. We have a large array of the most popular second hand models and sizes in our large warehouse.

All second hand appliances are checked and cleaned by us before delivery. However, in the unlikely event that problems or breakdowns do occur at a later stage, then our serviceman will come and resolve the situation (should it be a serious issue then we will quickly replace the items with a similar or better item at no cost to you).

New

Our new items are hired for a minimum of 12 months and are available on our rent/buy scheme. If you require an appliance long term and depending on your circumstances, may wish to acquire it later, then this option is for you. This allows you the choice of purchasing the appliances at any time after the initial 12 months minimum hire period at a reduced price. (Providing you have a good payment history).

The purchase price is calculated based on a formula whereby one third of the rental paid to date of proposed purchase item is deducted from the original retail price - generally provided by MAD - MELBOURNE APPLIANCES DIRECT. MAD supplies appliances at a much lower cost than generally available from most bulk stores. Alternatively, if a hirer does not wish to purchase an item or items during the rental period then it is automatically provided free to the customer at the completion of 45 months hire, again subject to a good payment history.

Short Term

We can hire items on a very short term basis at a slightly higher rate. This is suitable for functions/ special events and also suits people awaiting their belongings from overseas. Contact us for more details.
